uhhhh...some one should tell K&N that their Intake is not new lol

and that it blows - it supposedly lost power everywhere

I thought it was new for the G since nothing was on there site until now. Do you have proof of lost power because they have dyno sheets saying 5hp for the short tube and 9 for the long tube.

Yeah, it's been on their site since I bought one in summer of '03 or '04....
They spent a lot of time developing that Typhoon, and it showed in workmanship and I thought in performance. No dynos but seemed to work well.
Only issue I had with it was the idle with the long tube settup: it was a little lumpy--- I put it up to air speed past the MAF sensor.
... and oh yeah, it wasn't cheap.... but I liked it.

It looks like on the dyno that there is a little loss in the low end and a gain of about 9 in the 6000's rpm range.
