Greddy EVO2 rattles because of hitting the sway bar

The shop just put a piece of rubber wrapping the sway at the contact point. Is this the correct way to solve the problem? I tried to ask the shop to loose all the bolts and adjust its position, but it said that's not going to help...

What should I do to solve the problem?

Thanks

Take everything loose at adjust. Ive done it on that system so yes it will work.

rubber? it gets pretty darn hot and will most likely melt. mine was very close to the cross-brace and my mechanic just put some shims on there and extended it a bit and gave it more room

Thanks, G352NV
By the way, i have another question. The shop adjust the position of the tips by putting in a rod and force it to be in place. Is that ok?

Do not use that shop. Aligning tips with rod...Putting rubber in hot place..Morons!
I had same issue with Tanabe exhaust and aftermarket sway.
I had exhaust "lowered" by 0.5". I got lucky-cost me only about $40 and guy just relocated hangers on the car(not the exhaust)
