Side Molding falling off!!!

I just noticed my mom's 05 side molding start to peel off. One of the pieces is on the driver-side rear bumper and the other is the passenger-side front splashguard. Its just sticky-taped on. Has anyone else had this happen?

Just sticky tape? I heard that it's not just taped or glued on, there are actually fasteners that helps hold it in place. Can someone please clarify this....otherwise mine is coming off if it is just tape.

Holes under the sticky tape. At least for the 03/04s...pretty sure the same for the 05/06 sedans as well

My 05 didn't have side molding on the rear bumper??? If you're talking about the strips on the door, I don't quite remember if it was glue or tape since I wasn't the one who took them off and doing the welding, but there were two holes on each door for the clips that held them in place. IMO, the sedan looks better without them anyways.

I bet the mudflaps are just not on as good as they were they were new. Sometimes they get knocked and get gaps. Just needs to be re-installed.

There is a little strip that extends behing the rear wheel, onto the bumper.
