Fitments on headlights

Okay, i just got the recall done on my 06 coupe. Ugh! damn, i know its a plus for getting new minty fresh lenses but damn,

1. The fitments are totally off! is there anyway i can fix this myself ???

2. Why the hell does the driver side bulb have a hint of blue and the passenger seem like its white with some **** in it (a lil yellow) ????

3. Is the driver side headlight suppose to be aimed higher then the passenger ??? i thought the whole point of the recall was suppose to be to "fix the BRIGHT driver side headlights from aiming into people eyes"?

if anyone could help me, ID GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!

EDITED
The **** yellow headlight

better looking headlight

DRIVER TO PASS. HEADLIGHT

you need to take the bumper off then just loosen the front screw and adjust it down.

How about the **** yellow color on his headlights? Funny thing is, when I replaced my headlights to the 06, one side (driver side) is a little warm (more white/yellow) then the passenger side. They are both 5000K Philips, so I would like to know too. Also, when I had it put in by Randy over here, it looks just like his car so I will just go ahead and get my hands dirty and do the adjustments too. Any DIY for this? Thanks!

I'll bet you don't have 5k philips bulbs, and rather you have the 4200k 85122+ which are incorrectly called 5000k bulbs by alot of sources. They don't colorshift and stay quite yellow, thats the color you are seeing.

Hmm...that would make sense BUT I have two of the same bulb which has Philips Made in Germany printed right on it. I don't have the bulbs to look at, so when I get a chance, I guess I'll take a look to see if both are marked the same. That's the only explanation that can be explain. How about the other poster that has the same problem from the dealer?

brand new 85122+ is quite yellow. The color difference may or may not be the hours on the bulbs.

I think you guys are missing the point: Only one side is yellow, not both. For the OP, unless the dealer installed one old and one new, I don't know how it would be different. For me, I bought it off of a guy here, so maybe that would be the case. If so, then I'll just change it out.

that's what I meant by the hours. They should not do that if both brand new. The dealer might have assumed they were.
