They have ones specifically designed for sunroofs. Id like to take it to a shop or have a coupe of friends that aren't idiots help me with it. I heard the carbon fiber one looks really fake and tacky though so i would get black if i were you..

Do you have pics of your kenstyle rear? How much did it run you in carbon fiber? Did you paint it>?

nope when you wash your car, your gonna get water in there, it isn't gonna bother anything. Though it does stay around the oil cap because of the rubber stuff, so don't open it without wiping it away of course,

Jim can you provide some more detail. I have been considering buying this hood, but also have an aftermkt intake, and cant risk getting water in my engine bay and toasting my engine. What is the workaround to prevent water getting into your engine bay?

There is no workaround, water itself is not going to hurt your engine. In order to hydrolock your motor you need to almost fully submerge your air filter inwater. Water will get in your engine bay, but I have never heard of it causing any hydrolock or electrical issues. The only real downside is a dirtier engine bay.

Hi Jim, have you heard of anybody rigging some way to block the vents from the bottom of the hood so that nothing gets through? I know the vents are supposed to be for heat dispersion but I honestly don't care and would rather have a cleaner engine bay, was wondering if this was possible?

Well one of my friends has an Evo 8 and it came with a metal cover thats removeable for the vents. You may be thinkin somethin like that but i'm not sure how you can get it to stick on the hood you cant screw it on, or can you

The authentic top secret CF hood which looks identical to the Seibon TS version comes with a removeable rain guard....but its like 1500 bucks if i remember correctly. My brother has a CF hood on his Z and his engine bay really isnt that much dirtier
