How the hell do those work anyway. I was in my grandfathers S430 one day and it starded to rain. Ok so I start to look for the wipers, I look up and the damn things are already on WTF! How I ask you How????

 

I prefer that does not happen..if you haven't used rainx..use it..its so worth it..

That's a nifty feature on Buick's, too. Some sort of infrared sensor that detects water on the windshield. Pretty cool. Automatically adjusts the wipe speed as needed, as well. I don't think it's something you can retrofit without great expense.

hehe, you CAN turn off the auto-wiper thing.. at least you can on my parents' es300..

But yeah I gotta admit, I love that feature on that car. If the rain slows down, it slows down... very nice

Auto wipers? I would just like the windshield wipers to go all they way down when I shut the car off. My 99 ford F250 does this. I hate the way cars look when the wipers are halfway up and the car is off!!!!
