Carbon Fiber Film

Has anyone in here tried using a thin cf laminate before to cover anything with? I am debating using it to cover acouple interior parts as well as the rear diffuser. You could easily make eye lids too for <20 dollars.
It isnt some cheap sticker. It is actual cf, just very thin. Available with or without an adhesive backing. Also available with a matte finish. Was thinking about using the matte finish in the interior to aviod scratches.

I used raw CF to cover my strut bar and then put a layer of resin on it.

Just regular fiberglass resin or a gel coat? Did you apply it with a spray gun or just with a paint brush?

that is not "real" carbon fiber. The characteristics of carbon don't allow it to bend like that. It is a sticker my man.

I ordered a sample. It is simply the carbon fiber weave with a flexible laminate on it. The only characteristics that wouldn't allow it to bend, is the hard resin.

Interesting. I'd love to see how it hold up overtime with no UV protection.
