You can use electrical tape but I did that to see how it would look. I went to a tint shop and they used black vinyl. Charged me 50 for the chrome trim as well as the handles.

blackout tape from pepboys, but is not thick enough to go around the rear fat part by the small rear window. You'd have to get a couple sheets of flat black vinyl to cut around that part

Got any pics? and is the blackout tape from pepboys flat black or glossy. Also where would you get the sheets of vinyl?

Anyone know how to get rid of the chrome on the trunk without painting?

Whered your get your CF for the doors?

Also did you black out the chrome strip on the trunk?

As requested, sorry for the delay. Off topic, the roof is also black vinyl from BlueBat.

The blackout tape is flat black. The vinyl u can get on ebay by typing flat black vinyl sheets and u can tell them the size u want. There's some pics on my album if u click on my name. I don't have any closeups though and my camera is broken so I can't take any for now
