need help with the fan blowing hot air

need help with the fan blowing hot air

hey guys i have a 2003 g35 coupe, when i get outa work i like to just use the fan to circulate air now ill put it on 60 n its just blowing hot air i can put my handout the windwo and its cooler whats goin on??

yeah, my 07 sedan does that too, if im in park with the ac on, it will only push hot air.. just a guess, try putting it in drive and see if that gives you some cool air.. I think when you put it in drive it will cool the air.. if not its just the fan which is going to push warmer air than the air outside because its moving through a running car.

hmm idk becuase my car is a 6speed ive used it when moving and it sill blows hot air

when your in gear it does the same? did it just start doing this?

idk ive never rly used it in the two year cuz i use ther windows but even when im in gear it does the same

i had the same problem and i tried recharging the a/c and that didnt work. so i took it to a nissan dealership and they took a look at it and said it was the compressor which isnt cheap. i paid about 500 for the part and its gonna cost 200 for the labor. idk if i got scammed or not haha but i dont care about the money i just want cold air. just letting you know what it could be in the worst case scenario. good luck

This happened to me as well. The case with mine is that i have a supercharger and the pipes rubbed a hole in one of the ac lines.

Just happened to mine last week. Took it to the dealership and it was the compressor. 800 bucks later i have cold air again.
