To bypass the OEM door lock actuator which is an extremely common problem.
I personally know of around 140 G35driver members that needed this fix.

If you are handy enough to make the bracket, cut some wire and attach butt and bullet connectors, feel free to buy the bare bones kit from the site http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=330-010

If you want a kit with everything you need and you only need the tools, pm me.

My driver's door sometimes doesn't close all the way. It takes a few tries to get it to finally close. Is the door lock actuator the problem?

Thanks for the video. I have had no driverside lock for a long time... today my pass one failed. I can't deal with reaching over and manually locking it everytime with just recently having back surgery so I am glad I came to this thread. I just ordered two actuators and will have to find a friend to do this for me while I yell at them and tell them they are doing it wrong (I hate not being able to do my own work because of my back issues... and as we all know if you want it done right do it yourself...).
Thanks again for the videos!!!

^^Even with never having back problems, my back still kills sometimes after the 30mins it takes to install one of these.
Let me know if you run into any questions with the install!
