Just wanted to say thanks to PythonJosh and R6n350GT for the write and pictures, took me about 45 minutes to get a new door lock actuator on and it was a breeze.

Yes all this does is replace the factory actuator but at the fraction of the cost

Thumbs up Door Lock

Hi I am having the same door lock problem as yours, and I think you did an amazing job on this. Are you around LA Downtown area? Is there way you can help me this with your kit in person?
Thank you!!!

Just did this fix over the weekend for both doors. It's super simple, just go to YouTube and follow PythonJosh's video. You can get the aluminum piece from Home Depot pretty cheap to make the brackets. Thanks for the video and the DIY!

Is this fix only applicable to the coupe?

Trying to fit on a sedan and it leaves zero space to be able to re-install/hook the door panel back on.

I have grinded away all I can, but still too tight and I'm not able to hook the panel on to the door/window slit

Very frustrating, as it is all aligned properly and working...just can't get the panel on.

Anybody had success installing this on a sedan?

I've tried and you are right, there is no space inside the panel to mount anything in the sedan. And that goes for the front and rear doors.
This is extremely uncommon in sedans. Are you sure it's the actuator? Is it only one door?
