Your fender and hood are rubbing on what exactly? Do you have any pics?

Same thing has happened to me before, man...passenger side. The hinges need to be greased up every so often. I just do a few quick blasts of silicone spray a couple times of year and it hasn't happened since.

I imagine hood dampers would help keep this from happening too.

I don't have any pics of the process, but it's extremely simple -- easy as greasing a squeaky door hinge in your home. Just get some WD-40 or silicone spray (or your favorite lubricant...no homo), and use it one the hinge pivot points.

Lithium-based spray grease works well and will last far longer than silicone or WD.

it's already bent, replace the hinges and properly lubricate them before they do any additional damage.

+1 I simply used WD-40 4-5 years ago and the problem has not occurred since.

I tried WD-40 and White lithium grease, RESULT: broken hood hinge
Once the the hinge has bent and the structural integrity of the hinge is compromised, it may continue bending even with proper lubrication causing the fender/hood damage and leading to eventual failure. I'm not saying this will happen to you necessarily, it all depends on how bad off your hinges already are.

^^ Yup, if you can loosen it up and it's not bent, you're fine, otherwise no amount of lube will straighten a bent hinge.
