My heated seat light went out and I didn't know how to remove it from the center console. Does anyone know how to remove it ? I have researched on the site and I only found the instruction about how to replace the light bulb itself, but there is no instruction to move the center console around the shifter. Can anyone teach me how to remove it ? How do I get to the actually heated seat switch ? Please help !!

 

it's really easy. The first day i had mine, i actually pushed the switch too hard and jammed it down into the center console.

1st of all, you have to remove the shifter. This is a piece of cake. The plastic piece at the bottom of the shift **** slides down - just grip it and pull downwards, it comes right off. Then there is a C-clip holding the shifter onto the stem - pull that out and the shifter **** comes right off. Now all you have to do is grab the top of the center console and pull up/out, it comes right off easily. You should now be able to access the heated seat switch.

 

Is it possible for you to post some pics as DIY step by step ? Because I am scared that I might brake anything while I am doing it ...
