Another Driver's Side Window Problem!!
#16
your regulators are the metal guides. if they aren't bent or warped you're fine
i had a problem with my switch, when my motor went out the switch blew a solder point. i tested it by grabbing a wire and jumping that little tiny spot. it worked, i soldered it and that fixed it.
probably should have circled the spot in question.

Im am getting ready to install my 3rd motor and this times its a brand new OEM motor that wasnt refurbished. I have cleaned the refurbished ones to a thistle but still no luck. Either the refurbs suck or something is continually burning my motors out. Getting ready to replace the regulator tomorrow. I hope you find some luck with your window! I have driven my car for 2 yrs now w/o a driver side window and im f*ckin sick of it.

Need help
Okay so I have the same issue, my window is stuck half open and it's pouring at the moment. I have gone through 3 motors already, refurbished, and a window regulator with no luck. I don't believe it's the switches because we connected the switch to the motor without the motor being connected to the regulator and the motor would start working, but when I connected it to the regulator it stops working?? Eventually my mechanic and I rolled up the window on the regulator with a ratchet but it slowly started coming down centimeters each time I closed my door until it got stuck. My friend told me to check a fuse to see if it was okay but I don't believe it's the fuse because if not the switch wouldn't work at all right? My passenger window rolls up and down just fine, even if I use the driver side switch. Please help?
