Window Issue

2006 G35 Coupe.

I have a weird issue that I couldn’t find any answers to, maybe someone can help me!

Roll the window up fully.
- turn car off, window still up.
- open door, window still up.
- close door, window rolls all the way down.

Roll the window up fully, then tap down 1/4”.
- turn car off, window still up.
- open door, window still up.
- close door, window still up.

Im not sure what to do!

thank you!

If the window recalibration won't work then it's time for a new window motor, this is a common problem and you're experiencing all the classic symptoms. Usually the window recalibration will be good for another year or two though.

Understood, thank you both! I did see the recalibration, wasn’t sure if it would work since everyone else’s symptoms seem to be a little different. I’ll let y’all know!

My driver window had the same problem you're experiencing about 2 years ago and a recalibration worked, I still haven't had to replace it. Passenger window however only held for about 6 months before the recal would no longer help so I replaced it.
