The Whole Windshield Tinted 30%
...
sweet so it's doable.. did you have any problems with windshield stress? my tint guy said it might be risky to do it since its so curved, might snap with him having to use the heat gun... i always tint my windshield 10-20% and im thinking of doing 15% on the black G i just got.. with 5% on all the other windows, should look pretty dark, and fawk its hot in it w/o the windshield tint...
any info on the sunroof tint?

LMAO i just got my windshield done at 20% yesterday... it looks badass.... wow it's so black... sick... finally a seamless black car... (yes im used to rolling down my windows for the cops)
I'm with you shodog - and, God forbid one is in an accident at night where someone is hurt - they are done, and the tint shop is done as well. I just don't think its worth the risk. Turn the AC up and get a sunshade.

If you can't enjoy your mod's and car to the max, you might as well take it back and get a KIA....

To each his own......but I think that it is definately illegal in any state in the US.
If you look at the windshield on any US car, there is a small line printed on the glass about 6" down fron the top.
The part above the line is what you are allowed to tint....nothing below.
Insurance companies are looking for a reason not to pay off a major claim if you have an accident.....and your illegally tinted windshield could be it.

i'd rather not live by "what if".. cuz then nothing will ever happen in any aspect of your life
and with 20% on the front and 5% on everything else is NOT that hard to see through, i mean ****, are you guys driving out in the woods? i spend most of my time cruisin downtown seattle or the freeways... we have electricity out here =D
ps: plus there are stock HID's on our G's... i dunno, i dont see any problems seeing at night unless im out on some farm country, then yes, i suppose, but even then the headlights light up the road just fine
