Some One Just Keyed My Car!

2 Nights ago I was at the movie theater and when I got out my drivers side door was all keyed up! I can't belive people, i swear, you got a nice car and people get so jealous. I was parked all the way in the back too! When i see a nice car i get happy, i just dont understand these people! Any way, i can't go through insurance because my deducatible is $1000. So i got an estimate from a high qulatiy body shop that i have a lot of experiance with for $350. Any one think thats too much to re-paint a whole door? I also got another estimate from a kinda shady shop that my dad referred me to and they said $250. I took a couple pics, but its hard to see the scratches.

I feel for you. I haven't been keyed yet, but I have a nasty crease in my side fender from someone slamming what appears their door into it. I think alot of people treat other people's cars like a piece of crap because what they drive. It's sad. I hope you get it fixed. Chin up!!!

I no how u feel. I think it was maybe a week after i got my car i was getting out of football practice and i was walking to my car.. I turn the corner to the parking lot were i had parked my car and out of no where this huge branch falls out of this big oak tree and nails my hood. From a distance it was a heart breaker. Having your new car just disrespected like that..After i got the branch off i had some decent scratches some that i am still discovering to this day. Luckily Their was no Dents. The thing that sucks the most is 1 i saw it hit and two that if i would of just been 1 min earlier i would have avoided it..I guess **** happens for a reason. Maybe i was sposed to park their. So i guess for some reason or another your car was destined to be keyed maybe not for you, maybe for that person that keyed your car. Maybe him keying your car made him realize how big of a dumbass he is.. Who knows.. But all in all I hope u get it fixed and good luck..

If you've ever seen Pulp Fiction (which I'm sure you all have) ala John Travolta; "It would have been worth getting my car keyed if I could've seen the guy doing it while it was happening" or something to that effect.

can you catch your finger nail with it? if not, it can be buffed out. From the looks of the last picture, it looks like it CAN be buffed out.
