Add me to the list. I have my Escort plugged in there so the ashtray is open all the time. Only the radio part is turning yellow. The ashtray part is still ok.

So what's causing this? I tried all sorts of stuff on it and it doesn't come off. I guess I'll have the dealer replace it next time I'm there.

 

My friend's 06 G35 sedan had a smiliar issue. The piece was replaced under warranty. Since then, no problem.

 

I've got the problem too.

Non-smoker here...and the ashtray and cig lighter have never been used. I also do not plug anything in at all.

My ashtray is fine, but just the bottom of the radio plate is turning yellow. I'll mention it when i go in for a few minor warranty fixes.

 

This happened to me as well... The dealership will replace it under factory warranty.

 

Just happened to me a few days ago...it was almost instant. It wasn't there one day and the next it just appeared.

 

do u wash your hand often?

 

Got most of the brown out with claybar and polish. Went at it for about 30 minutes. Still some left, though. Gonna try again tomorrow.

 

Dealer did end up replacing my trim. No hassel at all.
