Any DIY for Door removal?

I've searched high and low an am only coming up with door panel removal--not actual door removal. I have an 03 coupe if there is a specific one.

Basically my passenger door is dented to hell and the window motor is broken. I have another door ready to throw on and am wondering if there is a DIY for doing this.

If not-if anyone has any experience doing this and how hard it is. I don't mind putting in the work if it's not too difficult. I'm pretty mechanical and can probably figure it out, but not a mechanic so don't wanna get too deep over my head if it's a real technical thing.

Any advise would help.

thanks

remove door with 2 ppl, this will ensure the hinges and door stop will not bend, after removing bolts(unplug main harness) lay door on outer side of the shell. start by removing the door skin(bolts under the door pull) lift up on the skin and it should pop off..there are alot of clips, try not breakinng any.unplug window switch and remove door handle cables..take pictures of each step theres 2 cables with different ends also remove door handle and locking device at this time..try not to mix them up. after doing this you will see a door panel with about 12-16 10mm bolts by removing this you will loosen the window rails, and motor(panel is sealed with adheasive, may take alittle effort removing) after panel is removed, assuming window is up,there should be a few bolts holding it in place remove them and take out window. the rails and motor should be removable as well(lay assembly to the side in one peice, the way it was in door*minus window*) once youre left with just the shell of the door, remove all weather stripping around top, bottom and window molding(tabs are fraile and window molding can bend*DO NOT BEND*)..then replace all parts on new door..starting with the internals..its an easy process, just make sure you take pics of each step to ensure proper reinstallation..hope this helps.feel free to ask any other questions, mike

Did anyone recently do this? Any other tips? Is it hard to align the new door? I am thinking of replacing my door soon, and in the process I will have to swap the window from the old door to the new one

Also does any other items have to be removed to get at the door like the fender, hood, bumper, lamps?
