Glad to hear it! Only issue I'm having now is the edge where the old gets cut off, I can't figure out a good way to give it a nice edge again.

had the same concerns but figured an ugly edge would be better than a mismatching ugle visor lol...i plan on doubling the new fabric over at the edge of the old fabric to give it a nice straight edge and just gluing the two edges right next to each other so it looks like a seam....hard to explain but the velvet i am using doesn't cut well so i can't just trace it out with the old pieces and glue those on because the edges fray, so i am gonna try the folding over method

So I need an opinion, the edges ended up sucking pretty bad...lol, to make it look better, my girlfriend said I could take some thin black fabric ribbon and glue it around the edge, basically hiding the fail seam...lol My question is, would this be a good idea or does someone else have a better idea?

I'm getting a new radio this spring, so most of the dash has to come out for that so I'll do a DIY for the dash then. Or if I get really bored before then I might. Short of the actual dash panel though, between the radio and gauge threads I think most of it is already DIY'd. I may be wrong. It would be nice to get this thread sticky'ed

No visor update, they have just kinda been sitting on my work bench for a while now. Still working on a good edge idea :/

i have been considering the idea of stitching the edges together similar to what the sport steering wheel looks like...keep in mind if i do, it will be a black thread and not orange not sure if it will work since the visor itself is pretty thick styrefoam
