I installed mine in under two hours. A half hour of that was just playing with the adjustments to dial it in perfectly. I could have stopped after the first adjustment and it would have been fine but I wanted to see how perfect I could get it. Yes it took two hours so if I was paying someone labor it would be quite expensive, but it wasn't difficult at all. I really don't think anyone who is worried about cost of install should be paying anyone to install it. Take jninja's experience as an example, if you are concerned about cost and can't install it yourself, don't bother buying it. He makes a good point. If however you enjoy working on your car and plan to do it yourself, it is a steal.
So instead of making my own thread I figured id add to this. I just bought the V3 rjm bracket and WOW. My built motor is running a twin carbon Exedy clutch in prep for the turbo and previously, this clutch was a brutal on/off switch. With the RJM bracket set to 100% (i went straight to 100 since the Exedy was about an inch of travel full on to full off), the clutch feels like the factory clutch. I can only imagine what the bracket would do to a factory or aftermarket single plate clutch. The pedal pressure was cut in half and the slip point was about triple the factory clutch. The build quality was great and it only took me 1.5 hours to install+adjust to my liking. Looking at the old V2 install, you had to Frankenstein the factory pedal etc, but this version is essentially a drop in minus the switches and the rubber pedal stops. I hated driving my car with this built motor but this makes me enjoy my car again. Highly recommended!
I wanted to bring this thread back from the dead since I've recently installed the Rev 3 version of the RJM Performance Adjustable Clutch Pedal Bracket.
I didn't think my clutch feel could get better after I installed the older version of the bracket, but I was wrong! Basically, the original bracket was a night and day difference over stock. This new bracket is like the difference between a cloudy day and a sunny day. This thing is great! The new AFP method is so easy, and with the four (I think?) types of adjustments available you really can tune the clutch feel to be exactly how you want it. I had it adjusted pretty well after the initial installation, but over the course of a few days and minor adjustments here and there, I feel I have it dialed in perfectly.
If I ever get another G or Z model car, the very first thing I'm going to do is buy another RJM clutch pedal bracket. No kidding, this thing makes that much of a difference!
