I can't get my driver-side front seat to tilt backward. It can move back and forth and tilt forwards but not back. I used to be able to use the memory button to move the seat all the way back and tilted back and then just adjust it forward but now that does not work unless I forgot how to do that and it's more than just pressing the button. I'm curious if anyone knows how to bypass the switch and move the seat manually or with wires, any advice is appreciated. thanks

 

It's likely the motor failed, unplug it's harness and measure for voltage when operating the switch.

 

my money is on a bad switch. tilt forward uses same motor as tilt rearward, right? my switches went bad too. I had to buy a used set on ebay.
