I would have to take out the bumper or the tire correct? Why not just cut the wires, if I ever want them on again (don't see why I would) I could just reconnect the wires. Much faster than taking out the bumper or the tire. Does anyone know the color of the wires that connect to that light?

i know i am dreading having to take off the bumper or wheel. but i heard you can just turn your wheel all the way in and then go at it from the inside of the wheel well. someone said it is tight, but it is possible. thats what im going to try first. and im not sure about the wires. sorry

OMG.... Just jack up the car take the wheel off and do it... It only takes like what, 20 mins to do from start to stop? I replaced both my city lights in less than 45 mins on Sunday...

I think to cut the wires you still have to go behind the fender lining. Also you dont have to take off your wheels if you dont want to, Jack up both sides on the front and turn the wheel all the way and you can do it. Having the wheels off will definitely make it faster. More than the wheel its the fender lining that is a PITA. You have to take off the fender lining, but it also screws into the lip spoiler under the front of the car, so you have about 4 pop out clips in the fender liner, one screw on the top center of fender liner and 3 or 4 screws along the front bottom edge.

well just got my 4 bulbs from autoillumination. I bought two inverted hyperwhite LEDs for the clearcorners and two hyperwhite Matrix LEDs for the city lights. I must say i am disappointed with how blue the inverted hyperwhite LEDs appear. I had them in my clear corners but had to take them out because of how RICE they looked. I decided to swap in the matrix LEDs just to see how they look and they seem a bit more white. I am going to leave them in for now, but just so you all know..the hyperwhite shouldnt be called white. They are hyper-light blue! Pics to follow shortly. i have a shot with each type of bulb in the corners. give me a day to find my USB cable!

I think I got it from prolightstar or options I forget. They are not perfectly white either, slight blue tint upclose, but farther away you cant tell, and hell of a lot better than those autolumination LEDs. Actually I also tried the PIAA extreme white bulbs also, and even they were blue looking.

Here are the pics. The first two are just the city lights. The rest are with the fogs on. In the pic there seems to be a difference between the lights, but in person they are much closer.
