Im ****ing pissed. I had all 4 lights lit up and working. Then One of the wires became disconnected from the harness so i went to put them back in and nothing they wont light up or nothing.
I tried disconnecting all 3 and tried to get one ccfl tube to light up by directly plugging that ccfl tube right into the harness and still nothing.
Nothing seems to be shorted car starts fine all lights including dome all work fine..
any suggestions???????

okay so if i took the red and black wire from the ccfl tube and put it straight to the battery on the black and red should they light up? Cause none did when i held the wire directly on the car battery.
http://www.svc.com/clk12wt.htm those are the lights I used. I had the two front lights wired in my car for 3 days until my other 2 lights came in. Tried to wire those and a wire popped out of the harness while installing rear seat lights and i went to tape it back in and none worked anymore
Did all the lights short? should I have used a power inverter for the 2 rear lights. BTW i wired it so each light had its own transformer (little blue box)

no problem
umm.. you need the blue box, for every 2 cold cathodes.
if you take the wire from the tube and connect it to 12v it won't work.
you need to connect the cold cathodes to the blue box, then from the blue box to the 12v.
imo, i would've bought the dual cold cathode kit. A single cold cathode kit would mean you are using 4 blue boxes, which will mean you're pulling a lot more power than required.
You just need 2 boxes. 1 for front, 1 for back.
connect 2 cold cathodes to each blue box
hope that helps

Also how did you use 2 ccfl tubes per blue box?? my cords are way to short to reach the 2nd blue box which is why i had to give each one its own blue box.
And I found that if I cut the wire before it got to the blue box stripped it and added wire to it to extend it that only lit up the ccfl tube half way. so I had to give each ccfl tube its own box because I couldnt extend wires to get to plug 2 ccfl tubes into 1 box.

i'm not quite sure what you did, but this is how i did it.
I have two blue boxes, one for front, one for back. The red and black wires from those 2 blue boxes are connected to the dome light switches at the BCM harness. I extended one of the blue box so the blue box can seat under the rear seats in the middle, then 2 cathodes on each side.
for the front, my blue box is behind the center console, with 2 cathodes on each side.
my blue box has 3 ports, 2 for cathodes and 1 for power input
