Looks good...I've got some pics coming too of a projector retro/blacked out housings/halo's. Silicone usually isn't good for resealing the headlights because as it dries, it releases agents that can cause fogging in the headlight. Did you have any problems with that?

I used silicone in mine to affix the shrouds for the projectors, and I used silicone to adhere the halo's, but that was prior to re-sealing the headlight, so the silicone had time to fully cure. I resealed mine with the stock butyl sealant by baking it at 225 for 12 minutes and then pressing the pieces back together. ttrank, did you reseal the whole headlight with silicone, or did you just use silicone for attatching the halo's? I guess I don't understand how you guys removed all of the stock butyl sealant. That stuff is like gum.

I used a small dab of silicone to hold the halos and JB weld on the shrouds.

I put a line of silicone in addition to the stock glue and heated, pressed and re-installed the screws. You can always use silicone but keep the bulb access covers off while it cures if you need extra peace of mind.

Looks good. I take it you sanded the chrome off? What grit did you use?

just heat up the headlight housing after you remove the lense, then you scrape off the factory glue with a flat head screw driver. its going to take like 3 times to heat and scrape off the gummy glue. its like rubber cement not hard just time consumeing. then i just ran a bead of silicone and presto.
you dont have to remove the factory glue. just heat the 2 halfs in the oven and press and screw them together. the OEM screws will help to seal the 2 halfs together.

dam ttrank, your projection & angel eyes are sweet.
