Wow, well search for IvoryGT. He is the headlight guru. There is another, but i cant recall his name right now. Ivory painted my headlights black and did the color mod. I know he has made MANY projector installs in the foglight area as well. He really knows his stuff.

I don't think the OP wants to do a projector retrofit... he's talking about bi-xenon retrofit, but he does not say anything about projectors anywhere.

BTW, subscribed. I'm interested in hearing real feedback on this.

Did not know you could put a xenon/bi xenon in without a projector. Hes talking about bi xenon in his fogs, and there is no way to do it without a projector. I may be wrong, so ill quit there for now.

Xenon means HID, period. For a while, you had to have projectors to have bi-xenon headlights, but there are standard bi-xenon kits available now.

A moveable glare shield in a reflector housing is not a true bixenon system though, its a name the aftermarket companies used to market their products, but no OEM xenon systems use such a setup that I know of. They don't work very well though and still have significant glare

That's the kind of info I was looking for. There are lots of replacement kits out there ranging from around $80 to over $800. I just wondered if anyone had installed one and what the results were.
