Hella Micro DE fog lamp HELP!
Just got these fog lamps and im having trouble installing them. I want to install then behind the bottom two air ducts. Does anyone have a good DIY thead link for me or some help on how to do this. got a quote of 200 bucks for a shop to install it....that cost more than the lights, SO I NEED SOME HELP.
Thanks, Eric

There's a couple of ways to mount. One is to remove the front bumper and mount to the aluminum bumper brace using spacers so the fogs will drop low enough to fit through the opening. The other is to remove the center grille and mount the fogs to the rigid vertical plastic braces behind the lower grille openings. I did the latter...I had just enough room to get back there.
$200 is a rip-off. If you were local, I would mount and do the wiring for a 12 pack

As promised...
-Mount fogs as described in my earlier post.
-Ground the negative sides of each fog. Make sure you ground it properly.
-Pull relay out of the Hella box. Look at numbers at underside of relay.
-85 goes to ground
-30 goes to the + terminal of battery. Make sure you use the inline fuse supplied with the kit.
-87 goes to both + sides of the fogs.
-86 will vary depending on how you want to trigger the fogs. I used the parking lights to trigger. The key is using a positive trigger.
-As for the switch, it will be wired in series with one of the wires coming from 86 or 30.
-Check all connections and tidy everything up using wire ties.
-Enjoy.

^ there is a diy for front bumper removal somewhere, but the cliffnotes are:
10mm socket
Long flathead screwdriver
-take grill off
-turn wheels and take off front side of splashguards
-unbolt front bumper from plastic undertray
-unscrew some screws behind splashguards
-take out some plastic clips on top and bottom
-pull off bumper
