[quote=saywat?;6544077][QUOTE=dvandriesen;6543010]Just got done doing my one and damn you really need to use some force to get these things open. Thanks for the DIY i think they turn out great.
was there a reason why u decided to mask off that area rather then paint it too?
I'm gonna take a guess and say that since it is not a projector style headlight painting that masked off area will cause the headlights to shine like **** at night. Great writeup i'll be doing this whenever I'm off from work smh.

Paint choice (plasti dip???)
Hello, thanks for the info very nice done.... I was wondering if I can use plasti dip on this for 5 coats or so and then throw some clear on it to seal it.... I just don't know if it would be a good idea because it could come out with time and just mess the light up. thanks

No problem
I don't remember exactly what the size is for the coupe turn signal lense but I want to say it's 2.5" ? Your best bet would be to cut out the orange lense when you have the headlights apart and then use the turn signal housing as a template to make the new lense. It will have to be slightly larger than the opening as you will want to mount it from the back. However, it would look best if you could find a projector lense to put in that location instead of what I had originally done.
Hopefully one of the coupe peeps can chime in on the exact size of that lense
