Clearing the fogging on headlights...
Hey guys!
One of my headlights is very foggy. I can barely see through it. I went to my mechanic and he pointed me to a place to clear both of the lights. He said it would cost around $200.
Is this something I could have done myself, knowing that I want to try and follow painting headlights DIY on here?

fogged headlights
I have had the headligths on my g35 coupe fogg up. The dealer cleaned them once for me. Now fogged again. Other Postings had mentioned using all kinds of things including toothpaste and then waxing. I also have a 2003 Honda CRV with 116000 miles on it and its headlights are much bigger and as clear as the day I got it. So why can't a High end car like the G35 coupe have better headlights like the Honda?/?????
Look in the detailing thread, there are several methods including PlastX, wet sanding, using polish and a Porter-Cable. It will fog up again and you'll have to do it again. And again. Just one of those things you gotta do to keep your ride looking good.
