Yea, first off, sorry I haven't updated this thread with night shots yet. I've been very busy with my job and am preparing for a pretty big exam at the end of April. Also my car is going into the shop for some unrelated repairs. I will try to get night shots before I take it in.

...But yea, keep your eyes open at the beginning of May... We've got alot of ideas that we're ready to bust out and provide to the community, just have to get some things in order first!

very thorough write up. Im glad you've taken the time and really worked it out. I must say that the way you decided to mount the projectors at the bottom is very efficient and elegant, relatively painless. If I was still doing this, I'd steal it from you.

All in all the use of the shroud and the mounting methods to somehow finding out my secret paint use, it's all very refreshing, another reason why it's better for me to do it as a hobby, doesn't hinder me from trying new things, allowing others like yourself to try new things, different approaches.

Two thumbs up!!

I am in the process of thinking about getting mines repainted as well and love the color yours came out.

Duplicolor Bumper Coating... "Black" I believe. (There are only a few color choices in this style)

The current issues I would have with doing another set is the amount of time I had invested in modding the OEM bezel and the extra shrouds for the lower projectors. It takes alot of time and if I ever messed up it would be catastrophic. (Since you can't usually go out and buy G35 bezels just by themselves). So, right now I am not doing any. But I did have plans for a way to get this mod easily available to the community... it's just I have been dumb busy IRL.

I'm sorry. Much of my time has lately been spent driving and just enjoying my car, rather than focusing on modding. Plus, my HL projects and ideas got put on the back burner for a taillight mod I was co-developing... but we ran into schedule delays on that which is why we haven't posted anything.

I really need to go out and get some night shots to finish my original post. I'll make that a priority this weekend.

And, as always, I am here to answer any questions for those of you embarking on doing this on your own!

Thanks for all the positive response everyone!!

As it turns out, I might be working on another set soon for a member in Puerto Rico, of all places! If all goes well, I might be able to streamline the process more and start offering this mod to the community!
