Same for me; mine looked more like your last photo. The first dealership I went to told me no and the second one tried to tell me no. I told them this was a defect of no fault of my own [and probably some other things] and they had some manager call me back. He went ahead and took care of it for me.
Maybe I can get my dealership to help me out since I've owned an Infiniti since the very first G35 was released. Been thru 5 now.
