blacked out/clearcoated headlights.. looks good but bad night vision
I got my headlights blacked out at a very reputable body shop. They were sanded, clearcoated, the whole 9 yards. Looks great but visibility is terrible at night. Any ideas for improving brightness without damaging the paint or undoing my new paint?

It's tough for me to take this seriously, since this is your second post. I can't believe the thought "this might not be a good idea" never occurred during this process.
Here's a simple question I ask before I do any modifications "I wonder why no engineer at Nissan ever thought of this idea?" You may find that useful in the future, or you may not...that is your decision.
I guess one solution for you now that you can't see at night because you painted your headlights is to do something like this:

Best wishes.

I've never understood any mod that makes a vehicle less functional. Of course, that accounts for about 75% of most typical mods. And I have to agree with the others....is it a surprise that making your headlights less clear makes them less bright? Really?
This was an extremely dumb idea to darken your headlights, what did you think was going to happen?? Only solution is to replace them....

What did you paint? In any case, nice job ricer. Why would you possibly want to make your car less safe to you and everyone on the road by painting your headlights so you can't see? Undo your mistake and get rid of it
