this is beyond sick! is it possible to just use the tokyo blue djplastic and not replace the LEDS? like if i sand off the orange then put the blue plastic there will that work?

If you use the blue film over orange led's I assume you will get a purple like color.
You must sand off the orange on the gauges and replace the led's on the circuit board for the 05+. For the center dash, you must replace only the led's. Note: it is a pain in the *** sanding off the orange numbers on the gauge, speedo and tach. Requires such precision. Very difficult.. at least it was for myself.

^^ ty for the input and explanations my dude, however i believe u might not entirely correct about a few things. The leds themselves are not orange, they are white,it is the orange paint like substance that makes them orange, just like the clock color,it only looks Orange because the plastic cover is orange, remove it and put plexi glass there, and its white numbers. hand i have an 04,not 05 so maybe it differs?.

If you read one of his posts he says "if i could go back and do it again, i would just use the film and not the LED replacing nonsense"

The 03-04 are different than the 05+. I have never done the 03-04 and I believe you are correct about only replacing the film. For the 05+ you must replace the Led's and sand off the orange.

nice job! ps i have all kinds of leds for like $1 per piece! lol & if you take them a part - you will get 5 smd (led) out of just 1 bulb! - that you can soldered individually & get 5 lights lit up out of just 1 bulb! since - they might be a little to big if you try to install just the bulbs - at witch case!- the smaller ones are also $1 per piece! - which will give you only 1smd/led - but again is a lot smaller & will just plug in!- no soldering needed!- that makes the job a lot easier! but as everyone knows - that you can plug some in & some you will have to soldered! lol ps i sell on ebay & amazon - so i have 100's & 1,000's of them! & in all kinds of colors! i hope to do my car - very soon! that looks awesome!- i don't think anyone like that ugly orange color! haha ps my # 303-619-4727

He won't. Now there is a place you can go to to get it done, but you don't want to pay the price promise. And if you have a 03-04 you can't get the center clock display don't. Well you can but its hard.

God I want to make mine green but its either too expensive or its very time consuming and I'm just curious how much is the price?
