is this rice? converting foglight to low beam

i was thinking about disabling my lowbeams and converting my fogs to HID so i can use them as my low beams. i wanna do this because i prefer the look of the lower housing being on like the sedans and pics ive seen of those who can turn their fogs on with the parking lights. and to disable the stock low beams by jus unplugging them instead of getting the kp tech fog light module.

*side not the fogs technically are like the old skoo cars with h4 bulbs that use the bulb as low/high beams. plus the stock fogs do light up the road like regular head lights not like traditional fog lights on other cars that dont light up ****

anyone done this or know of a different way to do this? im jus thinking about it not sure if im gonna actually do it

"headlights" have to be at least 12" or so off the ground. That number may be different in your state.
Plus a cop may just assume your low beams are out and pull you over anyways.
You can make the fog light switch independent from your low beams tho.

^the foglight/highbeam housing is well above 12". and cops wouldnt kno the difference between what area, top or bottom of the headlights, are supposed to be low or high beam.

When you turn your fog light into low beam, the light won't shine as far as if you were to keep it at its original location. I just recently did a retrofit for my sedan and lost of light so i had to install some lights into the original low beam and use them as fogs.
