3022 6-LED Dome: Anyone have these?

I was considering getting some 3022 LEDs from www.autolumination.com

Just wondering if theses are the brightest out there, if they fit and how wide the throw is.

Planning on using for dome and courtesy lights.

The output will be dimmer then stock. I wish these manufacturers used higher quality LEDs in their "plug in" arrays. The output would be much better. I wouldn't mind paying a higher price!

Not as bright as stock... but LEDs can never have an output as much as a regular incandecent bulb. It spotlights, but the maplight cover helps spread the light out. Its dimmer that stock, but it still does the job and it looks great! I'm happy with mine.

Silver,
That is not true. A well designed LED array can output better than stock lighting. The key is to put the LEDs outside of the lens cover. I hope to tackle this project once im done with my headlights.

Wait a sec... you're going to put the LEDs outside of the lens cover? I'm not sure I follow. Can you explain in detail?

I was looking at my brother's LED map lights last night. He has a slightly larger bulb that has 8 LEDs inside it. Theres a HUGE difference from his, and mine! I'm considering customizing the prongs in my maplight to hold a slightly larger bulb so it could hold the same kind my little brother has in his car.
