You need cut the bottom portion of the clearance strip lens to make a 12" tube to fit properly. To access the lens you will need to take your headlight apart. You can't just drop one in the stock hole since there is basically no room in the reflector assembly. It will be more clear once I post up my DIY.

Any update as to when the DIY will be available? (PM me if anyone knows) I just got my G today and am looking for some projects to undertake over the winter.

PeterNJ's clearance strip should be OEM (that is a light that actually fills the entire strip)...IMO! Amazing job!
