So if I put my headlights in the oven, will they come out looking like yours?

Removing the headligths seems easy, but what happens after you baked the headlamps? You open it up install the demon eyes and reseal it? What did you use to reseal the headlamp? And are there any leaks or moisture buildup after you do this mod?

Thank you for mentioning it!! I've never come across this important little fact. And thanks for the TSB link, Switch!

I've got a heat gun for seperating the casing (I have a new oven... ...and I'm not crazy about baking the headlight anyway), so I'm feeling more confident about this project. I wouldn't mind having my bumper re-painted, which would be a great time to do this project.

Good write up.

The tip to put on painters tape where the bumper can scuff the car is one that everybody should follow. When I was putting on the 06 headlights, I scuffed my body with the bumper.

Well you need to follow the instructions that come with the Demon Eye kit after you put it in the oven

I use a drill press and palstic sheeting material to make them.

We will be giving away the clear pieces for free with Demon Eye kits starting in Feb!
