You dont have a DIY on this do you? I got quoted $400 from a local paint shop to paint my rims. How much did this end up costing you, and how long does it take?

Do a search in the DIY section, there are definitely a few of them. I think total for materials it cost me about... 80 or 90 bucks. It actually cost me more but that's because I didn't have a full set (4) jack stands and had to buy two.

Powdercoating or professional painting are going to look better than if you do it yourself, but they also cost a lot more. Mine works fine for now, though eventually I'd like to re-paint mine with a higher gloss paint.

I just recently painted my 18 350z wheels. I'll post up pictures this weekend. Cost me about 50 bucks to do it myself. Turned out pretty good.

i like the lip matching the car's paint color. agree that you should paint the calipers.

Powder > spray any day.. costs a whole lot more but the finish is perfect n most importantly durable.. no chipping or flaking

Not to be a dick, but you're wrong.

Powdercoating has it's place but it isn't always the best way. I would much rather spray wheels then powdercoat them.

You get one flaw in your powder coat, congrats, chemically strip and recoat them, also even a good powdercoater can't replicate the finish of paint.
