Yeah I don't know exactly what that was, and I'm guessing there aren't many people on this forum that are going to correct my grammar. It isn't perfect but, my grammar, syntax, spelling, and vocabulary are all really good, so I'm not worried haha.

I have had several people ask me if I got new rims, not ask if I painted mine And I have also had a few people recognize that they were stock, and painted black, and REALLY liked them!

Put electrical or painters tape around the socket or tire iron. I'd use a socket though.

Yeah it's graffiti paint, 10 bucks a can. This will be my 2nd time doing it, but first time with this type of paint. Last time I used another type of paint from the same company and it came out super clean, but I did it in matte black.

I'm going to paint my stock 17s soon since the finish has almost fallen off. I don't use them so I can take weeks to finish the job properly.

I think I am going to go with a metallic gun metal though.

I'd use 600 grit for the first sand then get progressively less gritty working your way to 1800ish for clear coat sanding. Unless you're not clear coating then do 2000 and keep coating them.

Yeah, but it's almost the size of 2 regular cans.

I can't quite remember what grit I used. But after I used bondo I think those areas I may have use 220 or 320 grit. I didn't want to go too deep. I went to 600, then possibly 800, then 1000, then 1500 then 1800 and finally 2000. I probably went overboard, but oh well.

I'll end up re-doing my wheels at some point I imagine since there are a few areas I didn't get enough paint on. Also I think I needed to do some more sanding in between coats to get everything really smooth and even.
