You get one flaw in your powder coat, congrats, chemically strip and recoat them, also even a good powdercoater can't replicate the finish of paint.
not really bro i powdercoat them myself.. liquid paint is ****.. liquid clear takes days to set properly if its even used.. powder comes in hundreds of different colors, even metallic.. you'd be surprised to learn powder is actually a poly urethane plastic that melts together when u put it in an oven.. the finish is ten times more durable and fade resistant.. on top of that a poly urethane clear coat can be applied that sets and seals in minutes after its pulled out of the oven.

if you fck it up all you do is sandblast the wheel again and start over.. u cant really fck up powder its hard to over spray and as long as u let them cool in the oven nothing will stick to the finish to ruin it

I get wheels painted and powdercoated on a daily basis. I still prefer paint.

I'm not arguing powder coating isn't a great method to change wheels, but it has it's place, I wouldn't powder coat my wheels, but there are tonnes I definitely would.

I'll take a photo of all the snowmobile parts we just had powder coated in a crazy metallic pink, looks nuts. (pink and cheetah print vinyl )

theres some amazing finishes out there.. check out tiger industrial finishes.. they're coming out with a black chrome powder at the end of the month..

theres also another finish out there thats not really well known about which is called cosmi-chrome i believe.. they have all sorts of colors but they all have a chrome gloss to them

^ Make sure you leave no gaps in the cards or you'll get overspray on your wheels and it'll look weird (doesn't matter with black though)

I saw some samples my PC guy had of that black chrome stuff, not sure if it was tiger or not, but he just had a few pieces that the company sent him. Looks really good and weighs less than actual chroming

xdEnbOyx is very observant haha.

I sold my G cause it was an Autotragic and I just got tired of it. My STi was faster from the factory with much cheaper upgradability. Also it handles better...
