No one? I went into Radio shack and bought a few LED's, but they dont work when they are hooked up to a 9V battery.

Thumbs up

That looks amazing.

I want to get them done as well. They would look amazing, as I have tinted the rest (skyline style)

What are you testing them on? The stock LEDs from the G35 taillights will blow with a regular 12V power supply if hooked up directly.

Apologies to anyone who PMed me in the past few weeks. I had a family medical issue, so the G35 wasn't high priority since January.

I just figured out the wiring to doing the dual rings. I re wired everything basically. I am almost done just need to put this tail light back together, then do the other side, then I will be all done. Takes a lot of time, but when you figure it out your so amazingly happy when both rings turn on then the turn signals work.

I finally got the tail light all up and running. This is just the test fitment. I did not do anything to fancy, because I just did not want to on my G. This is one of the rarest mods done on the lights/exterior of the G35 coupe. I just did a friction fit. The 3 middle bars are my blinkers along with the outer light. The dual rings are my brakes and the lights that are on when the headlights are on. Pretty sick. I could do something like E__K, but for my car I did not want to. Im about 20hrs in on this project as is. Not to bad.

So here you go tell me what you think!

Thanks Guys. I can do the mod, but its not for everyone to do themselves. Also, is it showing up as a double post for everyone else?

It looks fantastic! I am pretty sure it isnt an easy mod, but is it possible to write out how and what procedures you took to do the dual rings!!!!

Cause I want to do them for mine as well. It would be greatly appreciated!

And yes, there is a double post as well.

Cheers,

Um.... I dont really feel like doing a DIY, because if someone does F up their lights the blame goes to me. There is soldering involved, cutting open the tail lights, re wiring a set of rings, and a few other steps that I am over looking. I can preform the mod, and may be able to do about 2 sets a month, but know that for a set like E__K's there is probably 50-80 or more hrs of labor involved. Im in about 22 for one tail light, and im about to re assemble it. Therefore even though mine is not "as custom" as E__K's I am still in it probably 40hrs. If you want me to do your tail lights please PM me, I do not want to bend or break any kind of forum rules here. I have the other side apart now. If your in the middle of doing it yourself, you can PM me with any messages.

If I do do another set im thinking of doing the rings as the blinkers and the 3 center bars as the brakes. All will illuminate at all times, but the rings will blink when your using the direction.
