By square do you mean non-staggered? If so, I'm running 245/40/18 all around. I too, was actually surprised by the amount of room in both the front and back. I think there was more of a stretch than anticipated. I will eventually go with a wide tire out back, but I had these tires on my other rims and they still have 90%tread.

I think tomorrow if I have time I will put the 20mm spacer on the front and rear and see how much I can push them out further

Needs a wider tire. I think the stretched look is taking away from the potential.

The wheels look good though, just needs wider rubber. A 9.5" wide rim should really have a 285-295 width tire mounted on it.

I think a 255/40/18 would look perfect on there.

Looks good, but you have WAAAAAAAY more room than i thought you'd have! glad it worked out and you didnt have to send the wheels back.

I'd go with a 10mm spacer up front and a 20 in the rear, it'll look bitchin!!

"A 9.5" wide rim should really have a 285-295 width tire mounted on it"

Not on our sedans, most who have a 9.5 out back run a 275 tire. That's an option when I need new tires, but I like having the ability to full rotate the tires.

"I think a 255/40/18 would look perfect on there."

That's what I said to my installer buddy when we mounted them. A 255 could work. Like i've said, once these tires wear down, i'll have to make another decision on sizing.

"I'd go with a 10mm spacer up front and a 20 in the rear, it'll look bitchin!!

I've got the 20mm spacers from my old wheels that i'm going to test fit this morning. I'll try them front and rear and make a final decision what to get.

"i was thinkin the samething. then lower it about anothe 1inch or 2... hehehehe"

I'd loove to slam it down, just couldn't justify the other sacrifices i'd have to make. The wife already complains about how low it is. I'm dropped aprox. 2" now with the 350z h&r springs.

Seems like a waste to run a wide rim with an undersized tire IMHO. Guess i need to change my way of thinking with these cars. My "other car" runs a 315 series tire on a 10" rim out back and 275's on a 9" rim up front.

Wheels look good btw

^^^The problem is actually fitting all of that tire in the wheel wells, by your sn i assume you had/have a mustang, on that the wells allow a very wide tire, ours not so much. When these tires wear out, i'll most likely go to a 275/40 in the rear.

Here are test fit pics w/20mm spacer on the back, too much poke. I will prolly just stick with a 5 in the front and a 10 in the rear.

Had 2, traded 1 in for my G35x.

I'm just not a fan of the stretched look although it's not that bad and i don't blame you for wanting to keep perfectly good tires for now.

Could be worse
