Ok so I've been tyring to find some wheels for my G, and I want to get something with a Low offset like 0 or 10. Only problem that I am having and I don't know if it is b/c I am not looking in the right place or it is a legitiment problem, but I can not find wheels with a low offset that will clear my Brembo calipers.
I've called a couple of wheel shops and have come up with nothing, I also want to stay away from using spacers if I can.

You can still have a wheel with a low offset that doesn't clear a bbk. Just as you can have a wheel with a higher offset that clears a bbk. It's all in wheel style and more importantly disc type.

Is it the offset you want or the lip? Those are two totally different things.

i doubt it. You can have a rim with no lip and put spacers and you just lowered the offsets but the lips didn't get bigger. There's some concave wheels with really low offsets as well

Well from the way I had it explained to me, I was told that the lower the offset the more lip you get.

Sometimes...depends on the disc type, pad width, and the type of wheel as well. Take for example Ordens...you can have low offsets but lip size won't be that big.

Ok so I want to go for a flush look, by the way I think it was the recruiter for you team donpisto who has a G with brembo calipers and a nice lip. I want to achieve a flush look at the same time have a nice lip, I hate getting the same wheels others already have even though I may end up having to do so. But I guess what can I do to find out what wheels will clear my brembo's

One word describes this car "Awesome"...... but I guess I was wrong about the brembo's, I do know that I have seen a G with brembos though.

Take the work vsxx for example, to me it seems like a wheel with -10 offset would have a bigger lip than a wheel that has +10 offset cause the part that bolts up to the hub would have moved backed 20 mm. therefore increase your lips by 20mm

yea really depends on the wheel, definately do the homework. some wheel manufacters simply increase the backspacing on the wheel rather than actually mounting the face deeper. sometimes for bbk clearance issues, or sometimes just for manufactoring costs sake.
