marcus- ill get a pic of the front once its dropped again..cars in winter mode now. We pulled the fenders far enough that body line is almost gone..so maybe 10mm?? gotta do some more work on them cause one side is starting to rust and the jagged edge is eating sidewall
gonna just cut most of the lip off..i think once i get a 245/35 on i'll be able to get a better idea of how far I can push this setup

anyone know if it is necessary to have a camber kit for the wheels to sit flush like that ^^^ because im gonna be dropping some coilovers for the summer and people suggested just getting the V2 20 mm spacers instead of doing the SPC camber arms in the rear since it will look just as flush

 

Camber arms are used to help your car get back into factory spec alignment to help reduce tire wear on your tires. If youre going to be more than 2" lower in the rear, I would recommend getting spc rear camber arms. If you let us know what you're trying to do, like wheel specs, we can try to help you. Im not a pro but ill try lol.

 

Not for me. Camber arms were used to get the wheels to fit by adding more negative camber. To be honest, I don't think camber arms are really necessary unless you can't get your toe in spec. Camber arms don't do as much as what the toe does to minimize tire wear. However, uneven wear, different story.

well to be honest this will be the first time im trying a custom set up for an aggressive stance because right now im on the stock sport suspension running 235's in the front and 255's in the rear with the coupe wheels what im looking to do since it is a sedan is have that stretched tire look on some SSR MS1 rims the 3 piece wheels as the Work wheels are hella expensive. im gonna be dropping it on some megan track series coils but i just want them to sit out a little so im torn between spacers or camber arms and what size tires would you recommend if i get the 19inch SSR's

 

Wheel specs of the rims would help.

 

i think its like 19x8.5 with a 59 mm offset

 

No way those offsets are wack even for meaty tires.

With those tire sizes look into a 9.5/10.5 setup. Fronts in the + teens rears in the mid to upper +20s.

Only do this if you plan on being slammed otherwise it won't look proper.

Nope, not without a nice pull. With a 245 you'll be around -3 or -4 camber. See TycoRC's setup, he has a 10.5 +22, around -3.75 camber and fenders rolled very very flat.

 

well that just blows my idea out of the water. I was going to pick up some meisters but i don't want that much camber. time to break it to the guy.

 

Anything around -3 to -4 camber is a nice amount of camber, not too much. But I'm desenitized to camber since I'm using to seeing cars with much more camber than that.

 

Yeah I don't want to go more than ~2.5 and thats really really pushing it. I think i may just add a 10mm all around and drop the rear so it gives a little more camber.
