Blasphemy? Only you can decide lolololololololol
Here's how my car used to look.
The she looked like this and I had teh sadnezz:
So I got her some temporary new shoes and she looked like this:
And finally she got brand new shoes and now she looks like this:
So you might ask yourself "Just what kind of rims are those, they look great?" And before I answer I will repeat what I have said on Driver many times, I mod my car to make me happy and not to make you happy so I encourage any and all comments you might have. And yes I know my exhaust is dirty, sue me......
The wheels are for a Mustang Saleen but I don't care.
They're replicas at that but I don't care.
They were cheap but I don't care.
They're chrome but I don't care.
What I do care about:
--They filled the criteria I had set in finding replacements for the set of Gravis1s I had stolen a little over a month ago: chrome, concave, clearance for my BBK, simple 5 or 6 spoke design, etc.
--They are the right offset, diameter and width. 18X9 +25 (with a 5mm spacer F/R) on all 4 corners
--They have a 10 year workmanship warranty so if any of them ever break, bend or crack they will be replaced free of charge.
--The company is local to me here in Houston.
--They were disgustingly cheap.
--The service I received when I picked them up was above and beyond excellent.
--Since they're 18s, paired with my tires they ride amazingly smooth.
And most importantly I love the way they look on my car. So love or hate away because you know what? I don't care what you think (but I am curious) because I'm super happy with them.
So your thoughts, blasphemy or not?

I haz hugz to givez
iTrader: (13)
I'd go with "new look"
Not a fan of the 18's personally but that's about all the negative things I have to say about em
I'm still sad panda about your Gravis tho...I hope they explode randomly and cause (no living creature harm) massive damage to the thief's car.
Oh yes...and my lawyer will be contacting you regarding your exhaust on Tuesday...

hahaha fellas you so funny. jooky my lawyer can beat up your lawyer so bring it on. I can't believe when Tony made a feeler thread a while back asking if there were enough interested people for him to make a second run of the VQ exhaust there was almost no love for it. I guess it just shows what this forum has come to and that makes me sad. I will never sell the exhaust until the car explodes, it's just too sexy to part with.
And Cobra, I finally decided to look at other options to replace the Gravis1s a couple of weeks ago and knew the Stangs had the same lug pattern. So that opened up a whole new world of possibilities and I found these. Couldn't be happier with my choice. Are you a member on SVTPerformance? My bro has a sonic blue 03 Cobra that he bought brand new in Aug. 02. Car has less than 40K miles today and it's in mint condition. He's also a mod over there, his SN is Blue03Cobra.
