Sup guys...

@Mr. Brooks, not my bimmer. My power goals for this round will be conservative with 91 octane. Hopefully with 600cc injectors I'll get around 450hp @ around 10-12psi depending on map. Once I have fuel return system and twin pumps with larger injectors I can expect around 500+hp. If I tune to race gas, then hopefully 600+hp for sure. By then...more upgrades to my tranny will be needed. I'm not sure what the limit is on the transfer case for these cars, but if R32's used them, I would think it'll be ok. Still looking for alternatives to make tranny built to take a beating. A fun project would be converting it to a 6MT to work with AWD. That's a whole 'nother story.

@Urban Engineer, I'll get you more bay shots when it's completed. lol

@mykrowsky, that's a good start. I recommend BC Racing Type BR Coilovers (with atleast 10k spring rate). If you don't plan on being slammed, I'm still selling my custom built Koni shocks built by TrueChoice. These combined with lowering springs make a good ride. Let me know if you're interested. Also, I'm selling my Fujita air intake http://www.frsport.com/Fujita-MA-281...AF_p_9197.html .

@frontieragent, I'm happy with 20's. Most complain that you can't get 'low' enough to the ground, but with the subframe almost touching the ground on a G35X, you have to compensate with that plus wheel lip to fender (to fill in the gap). On 19's I ran a beefier tire setup to make up for the gap and ran them flush. 19's looked tiny on my car too for some reason.

Keep you guys posted! I plan to do a few shoots with Avant Garde soon and my own short film with my cameras to show off all my mods and wow car tuners.

Hey, what are your wheel and tire specs on your 20s and what were they when you had 19s? Were they Vosstoens?

Do you have any problems tearing boots being lowered on coilovers on 20s? If so how often do you have to change them? Saw your car awhile back when I was looking to buy a Seasucker bike rack. Car is hot btw! Wish I could get my G looking like that!

20x9.5 +X front // 20x10.5 +XXrear (I'll get you tire specs later..forgot). Requires fenders to be rolled and max pull in rear

Varrstoens were 19x9.5 +12 // 19x9.5 +22

I have torn 3/4 axle boots. I just bought 2 axles (passenger front & driver's rear) and getting them replaced next week for sure. The front axle just started to click, after driving for about 2yrs with cracked boot. I have to Found alternative boots (longer range off-road boots). (1" x 4"). I'll let you know how it fits when I get around to it.

The Seasucker Talon bike rack is useful. So easy to store and throw on bike for trips. You can secure the bike and rack with cable to window locked. If someone really wants to steal though, I guess they'd have cable cutters..but that's why I have proximity sensors and motion sensor dashcams. lol All I need now is tasers on doors and satellite microwave tesla weapon if someone even tries.

Just added this fluidampr to the build! So worth it.

Part #640901 - http://www.fluidampr.com/product/640901/

In case you're not familiar with dampers for boosted or high performance motors, here's a good write-up:

Hey, love the build. I have a question on the oil cooler though. I have a v36 g35x, and was wonfering about your stock setup. The HR's have a coolant line running into a sandwich adapter. I assume its the same with the v35. the question is: did you just removed that collar and replace it with the greddy thermo adapter using the stock bolt? Clean build man. nice car! that paint is just great.

Ooh this guy! I liked it back when it was just cool wheels and a roof rack . Very solid progression.
