Hey, your throttle body the 3/8" vacuum line that comes off it to the passenger side valve cover. How did you get the nipple on the throttle body to point up like that to route the hose up and over the throttle/cruise control linkage?

I'm having a hell of a time trying to find a factory replacement hose for the 6.0L in my truck and I like how yours just uses a straight piece of hose rather than a factory bent one, did you just grab ahold of it and bend that nipple to point upwards or are you using some throttle body that already has it clocked towards that upward position?

 

Not sure what kind of TB this is, but whoever I bought this engine from had put a plastic threaded 90 degree nipple into that hole. I am running speed density, so no MAF to worry about un-metered air coming in. When that nipple is all the way screwed in, I can still rotate it a bit and adjust the angle while keeping a decent seal around the threads.

Wow, it's been a while since I posted on here. I've still got the G. Just put a black dash in her today, the factory tan one was all cracked. Got it 90% done, but the sun was going down and I'm too old to work on my car in the dark. I'll try and get some pics soon and revive this thread.
