Does anyone other than MarcelKatz have 20x10s on the rear? Is it possible that maybe they gave him 25mm offsets making them stick out so far?? This sucks, the wheels I want are 2 months out in 19s, but in stock in the 20s. Everyone says they will fit, but the pics or Marcel's car say otherwise...
I believe those dealers maybe assuming the sedan and coupe are the same (they are not). There are many coupes that have 20 x 10 in the back with no problems.

The sedan has historically been slightly smaller. However, no one has yet done a custom fit for the 07 to see what can be shoe horned in there.

+25mm offset on a 10" wide rim on the sedan would stick out almost 2 inches past the fender. Marcel's wheels dont, once he lowers it, it'll look bitchin.

If this mfr does not have the appropriate offsets, use another. At 20", there is little difference in the cost of stock wheels vs. custom wheels / offsets.
to get the same style of wheels he has (sevas S7's.. $1700) he would have to turn to multi piece wheels like hre, dpe, iforged to get the seven spoke look, those wheels run upward of $3000. Some people dont have that money to spend on wheels. The S7's are only made in a +40 to accomodate the sedan offsets. You guys are smokin sayin that they wont fit when the car is lowered.

And saying that he wont get it back into factory specs without rubbing.... you cant get it back into factory camber specs anyways when you lower the car more than an inch!!!

I think MFR was an abbreviation for Manufacturer

hehe .... looks like it could have been taken out of context.

Trust me ... I want those to fit about as much as you do cause your set-up (if it works) would save me some $$ too.

No negative feedback intended here ... just want to make sure you understand the pros and cons. Everyone has made their suggestions, just let us know the results.

I'm verrrry interested in whether or not you can make this work MK...I'm driving down to SD next weekend to put on a set of black rims my friend used to have on an 03 mustang..20''s with real fat tires, i dont know what offsets they were though, so fingers crossed.

So whats the current consensus around here..? is 20 too big? or will it fit fine with the proper adjustments or offset?

im not even sure what an offset is...

EDIT: ExtremeG that's one HOOTT coupe!

We were discussing the tire pressure gauges in another thread, so I thought I would pose this question here as well. Those of you who have aftermarket wheels on your '07 Sedan, did you transplant the tire pressure monitors into the new wheels? If not, does the low tire pressure warning stay on at all time? Come on randomly? Not come on at all? Can it be turned off? I dont plan on switching mine from the stock wheels to the new ones, unless it is going to be a huge annoyance to not do so....

Thanks guys!

Didn't transplant the sensor onto the new wheels.

My TPMS light stays on. Can't be turned off as far as I know.

Doesn't bother me at all.

It doesnt make the horrible high pitched shrill sound when it pops on? My 05 coupe did that on cold mornings sometimes and it was really annoying.
