Here's a few pics of mine. Not lowered yet but I'm think those springs you got would work for me.

Wasn't really sure of how to post my first intro but this thread topic seemed to jump out at me as the perfect opportunity to introduce myself as well as contribute something useful to the forum.
So, without further delay... pics of my '07 G with 20's. Looking forward to being a part of this ever growing brother/sisterhood of G-Drivers!!

With respect to how German cars can be slammed and still have good ride quality, it's because of 2 reasons: 1. They have significantly more suspension travel than Japanese cars. Thus, when lowered, they still retain a good amount of suspension travel which helps preserve ride quality. 2. The stock shocks on German cars usually have stiffer valved rebound damping. Thus, they are better able to handle the increased spring rate on typical lowering springs.
This is also why a well designed complete coilover suspension set-up with properly shortened shock and damping that is properly matched to the spring rate can yield a better ride quality than just lowering w/ springs alone despite using spring rates that may be 2x-3x stiffer than stock.
Thanks Guys! Can't believe this threads still going!
I think the novelty factor is carrying it along, just until there are G's with 20's everywhere.
And thanks for the info on the German school of suspension tech AlterZgo. They definitely got that part down to a science. Now if they could only get the electronics part down...

No rubbing issues at all. Luckily for us, the G's rear inner fender lip is already rolled so the max width wheel can be stuffed in there w/o any problems.

Nice car man! I'm actually jealous of what you did and what you have! I haven't gotten my car yet, but I wanted to ask you a lil something about the H&R Springs...so how much does it stiffen the ride? Is it kinda bumpy now or still smooth? And does that automatically lower the car?
Thanks...

As flush w/the fender that my wheels look, they go up and in when compressed(you can see this if you were to watch how the wheel moves when someone puts load on the car). It is but the tiniest fraction of a hairs worth of space between the wheel and fender but it DOES NOT rub AT ALL.

Now if I went with a 10in. wide wheel, it would've been a different story...
