LOL =X and still have more to spare... hehe...

Oh I was in this topic because I'm shopping around for a daily driver and your G35 with 20" rim looks nice I've been debating among many cars... 07 MB CLS 63 AMG, 07 Lexus GS 450h (hybrid), 07 Acura TL, G35x 07, or 08 SL 550 if they changed the look (and trade in my 07 SL 550). But the more and more i'm reading the more i'm digging the G35 07 sedan as a well balanced car yet have money left over to increase my stock portofilo and... looking at your car basically almost made me finish my decision! Thanks! hehehe

When I do get the 07 G35x ... it'll be the first to have triple HID projectors in each headlight

P.S. Another off topic but i'm going to HAWAII for spring break vacation with my g/f this march!!! I booked a reversation for The Kahala Hotel (it's suppose to be a nice 5 star hotel), but no one I talked to in Hawaii has ever stayed there, I figure since your.. on the Island, do you know anything about that resort? And is there any particular thing my girlfriend and I HAVE to see and check out while we're there?! =) Oh i'll be there from March 10th, til the 15th hehe saturday til thursday

Thanks!!!
Larry
Glad to be of assistance in swaying you to the "G" side! Its really a great car and sounds like its exactly what you're looking for. Its a very well balanced sport sedan that you can live with everyday. Please post pics when you get it! And btw... triple projector headlights...?? Anything new we should know about Larry...?

The Kahala Resort(formerly the Mandarin) is a great hotel with beautiful surroundings. Definitely deserving of the 5 star rating. You'll have plenty to see and enjoy just within the hotel itself and the neighboring areas. There's a lagoon on the grounds w/ dolphins and a beautiful beach out back. You'll pass thru Kahala, one of the ritziest, high end neighborhoods on Oahu on the way to Diamond Head and of course, Waikiki. Where you guys end up from there is all up to your imagination Larry! Definitely rent a car and grab a guide book and a map and take a drive. Its an island thats basically one big circle so you really can't get lost.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

hopefully enough people will look at this but,

i think i have decided on 20's.
CAN 20x10 FIT IN THE REAR?! maybe in a 40-45offset?
its all due to the availability of the size. Its very hard to locate 20x9.5 in any rim. most are 20x10.

20x8.5 is easy to find and I will be grabbing up a 38 offset in those.

marcelkatz has ordered 10" for the rear, he should be getting them soon. So we should know shortly how they fit.

Hmm, 40 offset all around? Gutsy move, because the sport already has staggered wheels ... but hey ... since they guarantee the fit. They key will be tire size selection.

Hehe Thanks! Hmm would you happen to be on this island? Be nice to come visit you! hehehe I know there's a few.. i get a little confused.. haha Anna and I was gonna rent a bicycle and just ride around the island.. i guess it's too big to ride around in it and I should rent a car..?

Yea hehe one reason why i picked this hotel was because they had a nic secluded beach in the rear with.. hmm free wi fi So I can get my daily G35 grub in paradise.. haahhaha more like check my stocks And it's nice to know from someone local to there that they also think it's a 5 star hotel, never been to one I think, it'll be my first time

And yep, triple projector headlights.... I don't know if you know me from around but I do high end headlight conversions and just tapped into the G35 area This is what i've done for the accord owners in the past year or two
http://www.v6performance.net/forums/...ad.php?t=75476 And I plan to design some other stuff for the G35 sedan as well I just need to go test drive one first next weekend to see

I wish the rims on cars.. like the G35 could have a deeper lip on the rim.. without having the spokes curve back into the car.. i'm so spoiled by 6-10" deep lips hehe...

MAHALO!!!
Larry

and you got staggered? 8.5 front and 10 rear both 40offset?

I was thinking on 20x8.5 38mm front and 20x10 40mm offset rear. I contacted sevas about it and asked, gave them stock specs and what i KNOW FITS, thanks to helios.

Hey Larry,

You definitely chose the right hotel. And yea, we're on Oahu, the main island. It may be a little too big for bikes so renting a car would be a wise choice. Let me know when you get here. Maybe we can hook up while you're here.

Those projector conversion pieces that you make are awesom Larry! Looking forward to seeing what you're gonna come up with for the new G. Let me know if you need a guinea pig and headlight assembly donors! I'm game for some trick headlights like yours!

Hope you have a great experience on your test drive of the new G. I'm sure you'll be quite impressed with it. We'll all be awaiting a post from you saying 'NEW G OWNER!!' or 'I JUST PICKED UP MY NEW G!!'
